Say Hello To Moisturized Lips!

Hey guys!
With fall and cooler weather right around the corner it is time to start taking better care of our lips to prevent chappyness. If there is one thing that I always want to make sure to moisturize, its my lips. No one wants to have the look of chapped lips and speak about the difficulty of getting lip gloss and lipstick to go on smoothly. Here are some of my favorite chapsticks and lip moisturizes which can be bought in most drugstores!

Maybelline Baby Lips Moisturizing Lip Balm in 05 Quenched
I would have to say that Baby Lips is probably one of of the most talked about lip moisturizers and everyone seems to rave over this product. I have this balm in 05 Quenched and I also have it in 25 Pink Punch (But I lost it *enter sad face*). I really like this product although I dont think it is the best product in the world. The packaging is really cute though and it smells great. This product goes on really smoothly and as a bonus it even has SPF 20 to protect those lips from the sun. When I still had Baby Lips in Pink Punch there was also a slight pinkish tone that looked perfect for school when you want some color on your lips without lipstick or gloss. I would highly recommend this product to those with chapped lips or those who want some color on their lips.

Carmex Moisturizing Lip Balm
Although this lip balm and chapstick might not be the best smelling or tasting thing in the entire world I have to admit that it does exactly what it says on the tube. It (and I quote) smooths, relieves, and moisturizes your lips. As soon as you put this product on you can literally feel your lips slightly tingle and react to the product. This is the product I usually use in the winter as it really keeps my lips looking nice and moisturized. This lip balm also protects your lips from harsh winds, the sun, and dry weather which is a must in those situations. When it comes to whether the stick or tube is better I don't really have an answer because I feel both are equally good!

EOS Smooth Sphere Lip Balms in Smooth Mint and Strawberry Sorbet
At the moment this is probably my most used lip balm. I use this product multiple times during the day and its the only lip balm I bring in my school bag. The main reason is because of the smell and taste that this lip balm has on your lips. The Strawberry Sorbet smells good enough to eat and glides on so smoothly. Honestly, I'm not as big of a fan of the smooth mint one but it does everything the Strawberry Sorbet one does so I will continue to use it. This product is super moisturizing and full of vitamin E and natural ingredients. It literally lasts forever and the cap is easy to get on and off without it falling off in your purse or bag. I defiantly need to go out and try some new flavors because I love this product so much!

Burt Bees Beeswax Lip Balm and Bert Bees Super Glossy Lip Shine
Another very common product that I love for the fall and winter is Bert Bees lip products.  This product smooths, cools, and refreshers your lips. Like the Carmex lip balm this product also tingles your lips and gives you a cool refreshed feeling (like the bottle says!). The Beeswax Lip Balm smells of peppermint (which is a huge bonus for me!) while the Lip gloss smells fruity. Although the Lip gloss is not a lip balm I find that it still moisturizes your lips nicely and is nice to place on top of the Beeswax Lip Balm to give some color.

I really love every single one of these lip balms and use them throughout the year. I love switching up my lip balms and moisturizers for a little change and to have something new.

So what do you guys think? Do you have or will you try any of these products? Or do you have any recommendations for me?

    1. Hey! The Quenched one didn't have sparkles but I do see why that would be annoying in the peach one (being a not very big sparkle lip person as well). And thank you! I would love to do some posts on layout tips later on if people would like to read that :)

  3. I have the baby lips and the burt's bees lip balm. I must say I prefer the burt's bees over baby lips.

    Great Post
